An homage to Lauren Bacall and my love of Film Noir.

6x8” image was hand carved and printed onto 9x12” mulberry paper with rich, black professional relief ink.

Beautiful and ambivalent, always cool and always smoking. The mood is a bit like her expression. Just let it all burn down already. Let it Burn. Perhaps the darker variant of Let it Be.
